Mrs. Lori Ulmer is the sponsor for this organization in which students volunteer their service to hospice patients by sending cards, making gift baskets, baking goodies, and visits to hospitals and homes.
Sylva-Bay Southern Care Volunteers are shown above attending their quarterly in-service directed by Mrs. Shannon McCormick. The topic was "Dealing with Stress During the Dying Process." The meeting also consisted of orientation for new volunteers.
