Technology enhances the learning experience at Sylva-Bay Academy. Technology offers students new ways to communicate, collaborate, and create.

Technology tools are integrated into classrooms in ways that improve teaching and learning and provide opportunities to reach beyond classroom walls. Sylva-Bay Academy strives to create a culture of responsible use and a continuous awareness of the different ways technology can expand and affect our lives.

Students in 7 through 12 participate in an Chromebook program. Students in 2 through 6 utilize Chromebooks for special projects/assignments. 

Teachers encourage students to use technology in ways that are consistent with the ethical and moral standards of the school. Students in all grades learn about the ethical and respectful use of technology, with the goal of becoming responsible digital citizens through exploration, discussion, and adherence to Christian values.
